Eahora Romeo Pro: what riders ask
Where in Prague do I pick the bike up?
At our Prague branch: we hand over the bike, show you how the battery comes out and sign the contract on the spot. The bike then lives with you — you only come back for servicing.
Can I ride the Romeo Pro in Prague without a licence?
No. We hand the bike over limited to 25 km/h with pedal assist, the standard legal e-bike mode in Czechia. Full power is unlocked only for private property.
What should I bring to the Prague branch?
A passport, your residence permit or visa, proof of a Czech address and the deposit. We do not ask for a credit history or a Czech bank account.
I have just arrived in Czechia. Can I still rent?
Yes. Most of our riders start within their first month here. The deposit can be paid in cash at the branch and the contract is signed on the spot.
How many Prague kilometres does one charge give?
The maker claims 180 km with pedalling. Around Prague, with the Vinohrady hills and a loaded box, expect 100–130 km — two full shifts without recharging.
Who covers the workshop and the parts?
We do. Brake pads, spokes, chain, suspension setup and battery replacement when capacity drops are all covered. You pay the rent and the electricity.
Does the bike end up mine?
Yes. Up to 70% of what you have paid in rent goes towards the buy-out price, which usually means full ownership in about 18 months.
The bike died mid-shift — what now?
Call the hotline. We bring a replacement bike to you or take yours to the workshop. Anywhere in Prague we are with you inside an hour, free of charge.
Does it work through the Czech winter?
Yes. The electronics are IPX6-rated and the battery is removable, so you take it indoors overnight and keep full capacity. Winter tyres are fitted on request at no extra cost.
