Common questions about renting a scooter in Czechia
Do I need a driving licence for a scooter?
Yes — for a scooter above 50 cc you need a driving licence of the right category (AM or A1 minimum for most models). A licence issued outside the EU often has to be exchanged for a Czech one once you settle here, so bring it along and we'll check what applies to you before signing.
How does the rental work in Czechia?
Leave a request on the site or message us on Telegram. We agree on a time and you come over to our Prague office — there we check the documents, sign the contract and you ride out the same day.
Which documents should I bring?
Passport and your driving licence. Zaměstnanecká karta, trvalý pobyt or vízum is a plus but not a blocker. We help with the rest on the spot.
Is povinné ručení required?
Yes, third-party liability insurance is mandatory for scooters in Czechia. It's already baked into the rental price — you don't arrange it separately.
How big is the deposit?
A fixed amount, agreed before you sign. You get the full sum back as soon as you hand the scooter over in the same condition you got it in.
What's included in the weekly price?
The scooter, povinné ručení, scheduled maintenance, repairs in our own workshop (outside accident damage) and a loaner while yours is in the shop.
What's the minimum rental period?
One week. That's the base billing unit — extend it as long as you need: a month, a season, or all the way to a buyout.
What if the scooter breaks down on the road?
Don't try to fix it yourself — call us first. If it's a warranty case, we tow the scooter to the workshop for free and hand you another one from the fleet.
