How do I collect the Juliet in Prague?
At our Prague branch: we hand the bike over, show you how the battery comes out and sign on the spot. The bike then lives with you; you come back for servicing.
Is the Juliet ridden without a licence?
Yes. We hand the bike over limited to 25 km/h with pedal assist, the standard e-bike mode. Full power is unlocked only for private property.
From what height does the Juliet work?
The maker quotes 160–195 cm. With the low frame and a saddle that drops right down, 160 cm still means both feet flat at the lights.
How many Prague shifts does a charge last?
Up to 193 km with pedalling, around 125 km on throttle alone. With the hills and a loaded box, expect 110–140 km — two full shifts.
Juliet or Romeo Pro — which one?
Same battery, different frame and wheels: the Juliet steps through and runs 20-inch wheels for narrow Prague streets, the Romeo Pro runs 26-inch and 200 W more.
Do I pay anything beyond the rent?
We do. Pads, spokes, chain, suspension and a battery swap when capacity drops are on us. You pay the rent and about a hundred and fifty crowns of electricity.
How does renting turn into ownership?
Up to 70% of the rent you have paid counts towards the buy-out price, which usually means about 18 months.
What if the Juliet stops in the middle of Prague?
Call the hotline: we bring a replacement bike or take yours to the workshop. Anywhere in Prague we are with you inside an hour, free of charge.
How does the Juliet handle a Czech winter?
Yes. The electronics are IPX6-rated and the battery is removable, so it spends the night indoors. The 4-inch rubber grips wet cobbles better than a slim city tyre.
